Getting around Krakow

Public Transportation:
Krakow boasts a safe, efficient, and affordable public transport system. To ensure a smooth ride, remember to obtain a ticket before boarding. Ticket machines are available at various stops and inside vehicles. Tickets are available for different time limits.

Please note the ticket types and their validity:

Ticket Type Description

Regular - For general passengers
Reduced - Valid for students of Polish universities

Tickets need to be punched once upon boarding and remain valid for transfers within Krakow's public transport network (trams and most buses).

Ticketing Information:
Payment methods vary - stationary machines (at bus/tram stops) accept cash and credit cards, while some vehicles only accept coins or cards.

For trip planning, we recommend using "Jak dojadę" (available in English) or Google Maps, available for mobile devices from Google Store (Android) or AppStore (iPhone).
